CREATIVE RESIDENCIES
Casa Satio launches an Open Call to all Residency Programs for 2026
We propose short term residencies starting with 5 days minimum and up to 4 weeks (for larger periods please contact us via our contact form). The registration process will be open during the year and the residencies will take place depending on the availability of the space for the requested time frame and a selection process based on our concepts and vision. All applications will receive an answer in maximum 10 days after submission, if your participation is confirmed you will receive an email from our part with the further details, terms and conditions.

Our Creative Residencies welcome not only artists, but all types of makers and creative minds that wish to have an inspiring experience and develop their practices. To dive into a specific project or just use the structure we propose for their works. The objective is not specific and can be flexible adapting to the needs and insights of the participants, including projects with various scales, large or reduced sizes according to the limitations of the spaces we share.
Accommodation is provided in the option Double Room with Private bathroom for the Individual format or as a couple. As we offer the possibility of Collective Residencies for groups which need a physical space with the structure to put their ideas in practice, we also propose other options of accommodation in this case including Single Rooms or Group Rooms with Shared bathroom and lodging outside of the property like B&B or hotels nearby if needed (in case of a bigger group that demandes more than our hosting possibilities). The residents have included to the price breakfast with access to the kitchen facilities for preparing all other meals.
The creative program can be completed by the usual set of activities organised in such as sight seen in the surroundings, movies and documentaries, reading sessions and discussions, etc. depending on the flow and intention of the residency.

Ceramics Studio
Woodworking Studio
Workstations: such as a workbench or a workspace adapted to the Resident’s creative needs;
Storage spaces: for storing materials, ongoing projects, or completed works;
Specific facilities: available for conscious usage among the community of residents, such as ceramic basic supplies and tools with two different sizes of kilns, basic woodworking machinery and tools. *where applicable, the training or supervision depending on the Resident's level of experience will be needed
Other parts of the house: access to living area and common spaces, shared kitchen with small space for storage food and cook meals respecting the limits of the structure provided. outside spaces and garden, space for other inspiring and creative moments as writing, painting, weaving, photographing, reading, drawing, playing music, doing research, exploring the surroundings or just relaxing.
EXTRA COSTS
Primary Materials for all creative works of the participants and their specific needs (you can also bring your own materials).
Meals, beverages and personal maintenance items. As well washing machine and dryer.
The usage of the kilns involve costs related to the consumption of energy as electricity or gaz, depending on the type of firings and the volume of the kiln.

Each participant is responsible for arranging sufficient insurance coverage for the duration of the residency: accident and health insurance for travel abroad including return transport to your country as well as theft insurance for one’s personal effects.
